There are times when I am free from this Nightmare

Hang on for a minute...we're trying to find some more stories you might like.

There are times when everything seems like a crumpled piece of paper thrown away.

There are times when everything is falling apart and breathing seems like a chore.

There are times when everything is blank, and I don’t know what to think anymore?

There are times when my brain shuts down, and it feels like I am awake but just not there.

There are times when the darkness that lurks around deep in my mind swallows me whole, it leaves me trembling in fear.

There are times when the silence feels like my most cherished friend, it soothes the turmoil that has caused most of my tears.

There are times when the problems that I once pushed away resurface in my dreams, they come alive.

There are times when the fear that’s dancing in my veins makes my demons thrive.

There times when silence my once cherished friend taunts me, hurts me, and wounds me.

There are times when the screeching loudness doesn’t bug me anymore, and silence becomes my most unforgiving enemy.

There are times when I want to break the taunting silence and shout.

There are times when I want to scream, but no words come out.

There are times when life feels like an unrelenting nightmare.

There are times when things like this heighten my despair.

Yet… there are times when life isn’t such a mess.

There are times when I feel happy and blessed.

There are times when this recurring oppression has come to a rest.

There are times when I am free from depression’s unwavering stare.

There are times when I am free from this nightmare.
