Sophomore Jacob Sheldon is a first-year student in his photojournalism course. Though he lacks considerable experience, he plans to make up for it with his eager interest to learn more about the profession. Having already taken a digital arts class, Sheldon aspires to educate himself about the photographic aspect of digital media. In addition to this goal, he has extensive expertise in writing. From short stories and essays to
surrealist statement pieces, Jacob has a talent and way with words. He plans to apply the same work ethic and principles to the art of photojournalism. As a student athlete of the Cypress Creek High School soccer team, Jacob has also learned that when a person sets their mind to something, and puts everything they have into their goals, anything is possible. Determined and confident, he strives to do his part to ensure a positive atmosphere, both in and out of the newspaper department.
