Sophomore trumpet section leader Zaida Diaz Barcenas plays her trumpet alongside her upperclassmen trumpet section members in the band’s storage room. ” The brass section usually plays in a different room from woodwinds and percussion, we tend to overpower the band because we are so loud.” said junior Brayden Bowse.
