Mia Joyner is a 10th grade student at Cypress Creek High School, a book lover, and aspiring artist. She has many hobbies and interests including reading, writing, drawing, crocheting, and watching cartoons. In addition to becoming easily obsessed with fictional characters, she enjoys analyzing scenes from shows and books. Although Mia likes both aspects of photojournalism, writing and taking pictures, she prefers going out with a camera and capturing moments in time. Most of her experience comes from a love for creativity and participating in art classes over the summer, as well as taking part in art contests where she often received first or second place. This is her first year in a photojournalism course, but she is excited to take more in the future.
