Freedom of Spirit. The Creek Crew lets their spirit ring across the stands at Cypress Creek Highschool on September 6th, 2024, where the Cypress Creek Coyotes took on the Mitchell Mustangs. The final score was 51-12 in favor of the Mustangs, but the Coyote spirit was still high. Sophomore Kaden Fletcher said, “Even in the loss I had an amazing time, and I will always stand with The Creek”.

Ho Ho Ho. Every class from Cypress Creek Highschool gathered to view and participate in a pep rally. The Jingle Jam Pep rally on December 6, 2024, consisted of a few performances and many games the crowd enjoyed watching which filled them with suspense and laughter. This pep rally was in celebration of our upcoming holidays and winter break. “I loved the energy, and it was a very nice change of scenery compared to being in the gym,” said freshman Eva De Jesus.

Feed us, Seymour! The Cypress Creek Highschool Ceramic’s Little Shop rests in the IPAC’s lobby, displaying various ceramic student’s talented works. The ceramics department instructed students to craft artworks to be sold, as material costs add up. “Tools and glazes and other stuff are pretty pricy,” said senior Aiden Venegas.

1: “I make my income by working as a lifeguard at the Mirada Lagoon.” 

2: “Most of my income goes to clothes and food. I'm not too great at saving, about 10 percent goes to gas.” 

3: “With my money I have, I spend on clothes and social outings.” 

4: “I spend my money this way because I like dressing nice and enjoy spending time with friends, because you’re only in high school once.” 

5: “I am saving to payback a guy whose car I hit with my car, and then I am going to sell my current truck to buy a sports car.”

Victorious moment. Kaitlyn Minor, the class sponsor for the freshmen, is seen after the freshman took home a great win. During the 2024 Cypress Creek homecoming pep rally, the freshmen, dressed in black, were victorious at winning tic-tac-toe against the seniors. "It was fun and lit," said freshman, Deuce McAllister, who was cheering from the stands.
