Vibrancy within music. Juniors Marcus Mitchell and Alyssa Fougere play their fall concert music at it’s respective showcase, displaying their talents through their electric blue and striking red guitars. Students were instructed to wear formal black at the concert, but their guitars did not have a dress code- as they were all personal ones, brought in by the performers. “We have a pretty small class for intermediate guitar, but everyone is close,” said junior guitarist Chase Copenhaver.

The last heartbeat. Dressed in his Seymour attire, senior Gavin Stevic poses for the camera alongside seniors Dylan Lauricello and Brody King, Stevic starts the heartbeat. A superstition performed before the start of a show by the whole cast, that declares a show to begin. ”When you are chosen to start a heartbeat is a big deal, if you do it wrong, it causes bad luck, so being chosen shows that you are valued, and trusted, so it felt so amazing to be that person,” said Stevic.
